Green Thumb Forum
This is a group of garden club members meeting in a friendly informal group at member's homes. Members exchange information and ideas regarding gardening activities and problems, do garden-related craft projects, and take field trips to visit gardens. All club members are encouraged to participate in these projects and field trips. Information on each monthly activity will be published in our "Preview" newsletter and you can sign up at our monthly meeting or you may contact the Green Thumb Chairperson.

Forest Avenue Pocket Garden - 2005 Laguna Beach City Beautification Committee Winner 
This is our garden club's hands-on Civic Beautification Project for the enjoyment of both visitors and locals in our community.  We encourage all of our members to donate a couple of hours each month toward the maintenance of this community garden, created in 1999.

Valentine Baskets
For our regular February meeting, many garden club members make and donate beautiful and original planted living baskets. These baskets are then used for a silent auction. The lucky high bidders take home one of these living baskets to be appreciated for some time to come.

Spring Garden Tour
Several attractive and outstanding private gardens in our community will be open to the public, with the purchase of a ticket. Every garden club member is expected to donate their time and talents to accomplish this fundraising effort for our Club. Proceeds from the tour support local and state environmental projects, civic beautification projects, and local arboretums. The club also provides scholarships to students of landscape design, environmental studies, or horticultural studies.

Tours and Travel
Our club frequently travels to local botanical parks, nurseries, and other places of interest to gardeners. For information on planned events contact tour chair Madeline Visca.
