Join us at our General Meeting on May 10th to meet Jodie Cook, a landscape designer who has been creating beautiful gardens for over two decades. Jodie believes a horticultural revolution is under way which will transform the role of gardens and gardening in our society. Trained in landscape architecture, sustainable landscape design, and the watershed approach to landscaping she creates abundant gardens as rich in biodiversity as they are attractive to people.

Her work with NatureScape, the education-based turf-to-native-garden program she created was recently featured in the American Society of Landscape Architects national exhibit entitled, Smart Policies for Climate Change. Her work and thoughts on garden design have been featured in numerous national and local publications such as the Orange County Register, the Wall Street Journal, and CNN.
