Join us at our General Meeting on April 12th to hear our speaker Robin Jones and learn all about the magnificent monarch butterfly, including fascinating science that will astound you. See the living lifecycle up-close (with a magnifying glass), from egg to chrysalis, to butterfly. Learn how to plant a monarch garden, as well as other ways to support butterflies, even from an apartment or condo patio.

Robin Jones is a regenerative garden designer for her company, Honey Girl Grows, who consults, designs, builds, installs, and tends Michelin-Star chef gardens, native yard replacements, butterfly gardens, mini orchards, and pollinator projects including National Wildlife-certified habitat gardens with four seasons of bloom. Clients include homeowners, 5-star resorts, and corporate headquarters like Red Bull, Snapchat, and Camp Pendleton.

Robin is a multigenerational farmer (her family owns Whitefish Stage organic farm in Montana), and UC Master Gardener/Beekeeper (with 14 years science-based experience mentored under the world’s most-published bee researcher and biologist, Randy Oliver), as well as a national speaker and educator on pollinator conservation, regenerative gardening, and organic pest management for wineries, Cal Poly State University, and others.
