On Friday, June 2, Laguna Beach Garden Club was honored to award scholarships of $3000 each to three graduating seniors of Laguna Beach High School, who will pursue careers in Environmental Sciences. The 2023 recipients of the Laguna Beach Garden Club Scholarship are Molly Starr, Sylvie Henry, and Quinn Butler.
These scholarships are made possible through our major fundraiser, our Gate & Garden Tour held the 1st Saturday in May, and in combination with generous donations from our members, our sponsors, and other donors.
Our community is very close-knit, as evidenced by over $440,000 awarded in scholarships by 131 groups, including community organizations, businesses, alumni, individuals, and those honoring a loved one on a memorial scholarship.
We are pleased to be part of this group who gives back to our community.
